DICTA 2025 Presentation Guidelines
1. Oral Presentation Guidelines
- Presentation Duration: All oral presentations will be given 18 minutes, including time for questions (~3 minutes), session chair introductions, and any set up that is not completed in advance.
- Slide Submission: To ensure a smooth transition between presenters during the oral presentation sessions, please upload your DICTA 2025 presentation slides via the Dropbox link included in our previous email.
- File Format & Deadline: We appreciate it if you could upload the presentation in .ppt, .pptx or .pdf format preferably by Nov 25th at 11:59 PM local time (AOE). Please ensure that the file size does not exceed 20 MB.
- Presentation Room Setup: The presentation room will be equipped with a laptop, a projector, a microphone, and a lectern.
- Poster Requirement: Please note that all oral presenters are also required to prepare a poster for display.
2. Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Poster Size: Poster size is A0 (width x height: 0.84m x 1.19m) (33.1 in x 46.8 in) (portrait mode only).
- Presenter’s Responsibility: Each poster presenter is responsible for printing, bringing their own poster and removing their poster at the end of their session.
- Display and Removal: The posters can be displayed on the day of the assigned session and must be removed at the end of your poster presentation by 18:00.
- Poster Identification: Each poster will be assigned a number, which is used to identify its poster board.
- What to be included on the poster? Please make sure your poster clearly displays the title of your paper, your name, and your affiliation. There are no additional requirements regarding the poster format, apart from those imposed by our Code of Conduct (no offensive language or inappropriate images, etc.). We expect the poster sessions to be well-attended.
- Poster Display Schedule: Posters are to be put up between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. each day and should be removed at the end of the day. Posters not removed will be held at the registration desk. Any posters not collected by the end of the conference will be disposed of.
